iDE’s Global Theory of Change lays out the ultimate impact iDE hopes to achieve, along with the short- and long-term outcomes necessary to get there. It is a living document, guided through a large-scale, participatory co-creation process across iDE’s business units and informed by iDE’s traction and work to date. It lays the foundation for iDE’s strategy, programs, and evaluation, and also:
● Highlights iDE’s anticipated impact and strategic direction, facilitating a unified approach to high-level implementation activities across our country programs and sectors;
● Maps out the critical steps iDE needs to take and outcomes iDE needs to achieve to
reach its long-term goals and vision;
● Outlines key priority activities and outputs the iDE team needs to complete and allocate resources to;
● Builds on the core values, brand pillars, and principles guiding iDE’s work;
● Promotes transparency and accountability so iDE can effectively promote these values and goals across the organization and sectors where iDE works;
● Is meant to be revisited and adapted as iDE continues to scale.
