As a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of development experience, Stefano has collaborated with esteemed institutions and governments, including the United Nations, European Union, and various International NGOs.

Known for his unwavering dedication to empowering marginalized communities worldwide, he has tackled diverse assignments across conflict zones and contexts. Prior to iDE, Stefano held senior and executive leadership roles at organizations including Bountifield International, Children’s HeartLink, UNICEF, Voluntary Services Overseas International, BRAC (UK), the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (South Sudan) the European Union Delegation to Eswatini, and the United Nations Development Program (Yemen), among others. 

Stefano holds two master's degrees in public administration and international relations, and development economics and international studies, alongside a bachelor's degree in economics. He currently resides in Minnesota with his family, where he remains dedicated to creating a positive impact on global communities he serves.
