Sobeida serves as Country Director for iDE Honduras and brings more than 20 years of experience in project management, organizational leadership, and international development. Prior to her current role, she served as Country Manager and Acting Country Director, leading the organization through major challenges, including hurricanes and the COVID-19 pandemic. Her experience includes managing donor-funded programs in collaboration with international organizations such as the European Union’s Food Security Program and SNV Netherlands Development Organisation.

At iDE Honduras, Sobeida leads strategic project implementation, operational management, proposal development, and partner engagement to advance sustainable development initiatives across the country. She holds an Executive Master’s degree in Policies and Development Practices and a Master’s degree in Project Management. Outside of work, she enjoys nature, current affairs, and interior design.
