Kim Hian is an agronomist with a PhD degree in Plant Science from Lincoln University, New Zealand. She has more than 15 years of work experience related to horticulture production, IPM, climate smart agriculture, DRR/CCA, market system development, horticulture value chain, and project management. She has been with iDE Cambodia for more than five years, starting as a project coordinator of a USAID funded IPM Innovation Lab project and as agronomy advisor to a NZAID funded project. Early 2020, Kim Hian was promoted to Agronomy Director, a role where she oversees technical aspects and ensures consistency among a number of agricultural projects. Kim Hian also contributed to vision and strategy development and takes a leading role in ongoing agricultural research, learning, innovation, and adaptation.
