As iDE’s country director in Cambodia, Kevin brings a deep understanding of market systems, agriculture, WASH, and entrepreneurship. As well as Cambodia, he has worked in Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Uganda building organizations, managing projects, developing business, providing technical assistance and conducting research. Kevin is no stranger to iDE. He previously worked for our Bangladesh office, first as a graduate student intern and then returning as a technical expert and deputy project manager, later taking on the role of director of programs. For the last four and a half years, Kevin has served as the deputy country director for Swisscontact in Cambodia and is proud to have co-created and led the USAID RISE project which serves as a technical assistance platform for impact businesses and investors in Southeast Asia. Before international development, Kevin worked for a trade union in the USA, leading campaigns and building capacity for colleagues and workers. He’s also worked in the food industry, including farms and restaurants. In his spare time, he enjoys running, yoga, and cooking. If you want to hear Kevin “geek out” ask him about his Japanese chef knives or his collection of fountain pens and inks.
