Horacio Morgado is a seasoned development professional with over 15 years of experience in agriculture and livelihoods, food security, rural development, and market systems. He has held multiple leadership roles at iDE Mozambique, including Consultant, Project Manager for the 3R project, Programs Director, and Deputy Chief of Party for the Resilient Coastal Communities (RCC) project. Since October 2023, he has served as Director of Programs and a member of the Senior Management Team. Horacio began his career as a District Coordinator for the USAID-funded Osanzaya Program and went on to serve as Mozambique’s National Coordinator for the Partnership for Investment and Growth in Africa with the International Trade Center. He also led Switzerland’s Income & Economic Development portfolio, managing US$30 million in projects across the country.
