Helen has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial and grant management. She began her career as a finance assistant at the International Red Cross, later worked as a financial manager at Ipas Ethiopia, and recently served as grant and finance manager at Plan International Ethiopia, where she oversaw 68 grants and a team of 14 people. Helen says she looks for opportunities to learn and develop her skillset. She respects differing viewpoints and has worked with people from diverse backgrounds. During her career, she has worked in Chad, Kenya, Sudan and Uganda. She has a degree and an advanced diploma, both in accounting.
