Faira Mesquita joined iDE in 2017, working in Mozambique to use her communications skills to help her country develop its education, health care, infrastructure, food supply, and transportation sectors. She is now developing her skills as a monitoring and evaluation officer, while also supporting Mozambique as a Design Ambassador. She appreciates learning from her colleagues and confronting what the world is like out of the city and out of the protection of parents and family. She’s gratified by the hope and happiness she sees from the iDE clients when on field visits and during trainings.
