Iain Hunter has joined iDE Europe as Chief Executive, UK where he will identify and develop smart, strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and trusts, helping iDE achieve the funding required to meet its ambitious goal of reaching 20 million more people with products or services.  

Global CEO, Tim Prewitt said: "We are proud to introduce Iain Hunter as Chief Executive for iDE Europe. Based in London, Iain comes to iDE from a successful international career in the private sector where building businesses, networks, and long-standing meaningful commercial relationships have been a key focus. His background in marketing, advertising, and corporate sustainability with corporations such as Unilever makes him uniquely positioned for the next chapter of our growth in the UK and Europe”.

Iain joins iDE after three and a half years as Group Commercial Development Director at MGA Group, a London-based integrated strategic communications agency with clients in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.  His career spans 30+ years in the branding and marketing business in London, New York, Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong, working with some of the world’s largest brands across many channels and disciplines including Unilever, Aggreko, American Express, American Red Cross, DuPont, Kimberly-Clarke, Coca-Cola and AT&T.  Specifically, his work with Unilever, United Technologies Corporation (UTC) and others has been in the arena of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

He is a former trustee of Hope for Children in the UK and previous Board Chairman of ITLP (International Theatre Literacy Project) for 5 years in New York (a NFP that promotes English literacy in young students in developing countries through theatre playwriting workshops). He also served on the Victorian Board of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) in Australia."
