Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman is our director of finance and operations at iDE Bangladesh. He was previously director of finance and has been  an integral part of the leadership team since 2016.

Muhammad leads and supports seamless integration and execution of finance, grants, operations, human resources, information technology, risk management, procedures, and processes. He provides leadership, supervision, capacity building and mentoring for all staff involved in the finance and operations unit.

He brings more than 17 years of financial, technical, and leadership experience in Bangladesh as well as in the Asia-Pacific region, having served in various leadership and managerial roles at a range of organizations including Save the Children Australia, ActionAid Bangladesh, and Habitat for Humanity International.

Muhammad holds a master’s degree in accounting, a postgraduate degree in management, and is a partially-qualified chartered accountant. He is a Mango-certified finance trainer and has obtained a certificate on project leadership from Cornell University.
