Khaled Khan joins iDE with more than 14 years of experience in market system development and over seven years in international development across Asia and Africa. He has worked extensively in the program implementation, monitoring and results measurement, and communication functions.
Khaled started his journey with systems thinking in 2007 becoming part of several programs in Bangladesh and abroad, designing, innovating, and exercising a private sector-led development approach. Before coming back to Bangladesh, he spent seven years working in large-scale market systems programs in Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda, and Sierra Leone.
Khaled joined iDE in 2021 as the team leader of the CSISA-MEA project funded by USAID. Before joining iDE, he worked for a large market systems programs - in Indonesia with Palladium International and in Bangladesh with Swisscontact.
In addition, he worked as the results and knowledge lead for the Kenya Markets Trust in Kenya, among others. Khaled played significant roles in program design, thought leadership, team capacity, and motivation building.
Khaled holds a masters in business administration with a major in finance from Dhaka University, and a bachelors in computer engineering from North South University.
